will host amusical program
performed by
Ensemble 415 South.

This ensemble specializes in performing early music of the Europeanclassical tradition from the Baroque Era and earlier – music produced before1750.

The objective of this ensemble is to recreate the music as it might havesounded at the time it was written using period instruments and modifyingplaying techniques according to the most recent scholarly research into musicof the time.

Performing are:

Dr.Tammara Phillips, baroque flute

Dr.Ann Adams, baroque oboe

Dr.Lee Goodhew Romm, baroque bassoon

Dr.Boyd Jones, harpsichord

A love offering will be received to help the Special Music Fund.

24th Annual CROP Hunger Walk

CROP WALK is Sunday, March 11! This year marks the 24th annual event to help fight hunger. A table will be set up with registration forms and information in the Fellowship Hall after the 9 and 11 am worship services on March 4. Contact June Young at jyoung012@cfl.rr.com.

2012 Men's Retreat

Are you on the lam, not sure which way to turn, where to go, what to do or afraid of being sent up the river? Then you are the man we want to invite to join us for our third Men’s Retreat scheduled for 9-11 March 2012, at the Deerhaven “all the way” house located just across, but down the river.

Retreat starts Friday after work and concludes Sunday morning before 11:00 a.m. Your cost is $75.00 which includes five meals, two night’s stay, group activities and program presented by Pastor Michael Bodger. Annual Church Picnic

The annual church picnic is fast approaching. The picnic will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 1-4 PM. No big themes this year just a good old fashioned country picnic. The Deacons have not yet discussed food and activities, but rest assured there will be plenty of each. Details will be available soon.

The PNC members would like to thank all of the churchmembers who met in focus groups to give input. Your input was valuableand assisted us in writing the CIF.

We have received over 30 Personal Information Forms (PIF's)from pastors interested in our Head of Staff position. The PNC is working diligently to read, discuss and processthese PIF's. It is a dedicated group of folks who are praying, processingand joyfully doing everything they are asked to do.
